Mekelee Head-Finch, owner of Head Consulting Group, LLC, is a dedicated advocate with a twenty-year, full‑circle career rooted in service, care, and legal expertise. Her journey began as a Home Health Aide, providing hands‑on support for her stepmother living with multiple sclerosis and later caring for bedbound seniors. These early experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to dignity, compassion, and advocacy for vulnerable adults.

 

A United States Air Force Veteran, she served with the Selfridge ANG 927th Logistics Support Group and Keesler AFB 81st Mission Support Group, strengthening her discipline, leadership, and mission‑driven approach.

 

Her academic background includes a B.A. in Organizational Psychology & Development and an MBA in Human Resource Management from AIU, followed by a Paralegal Certificate and Master of Legal Studies from Hamline University.

 

Professionally, Mekelee has worked across the full continuum of long‑term care and elder services. With the State of Georgia DFCS, she specialized in Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD) Medicaid, working closely with caregivers, families, and elder law firms to navigate Nursing Home Medicaid, Hospice Medicaid, Community Waiver programs, and Medicare Part B premium‑assistance eligibility.

 

She later advanced into Elder Law as a paralegal, gaining deep experience in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Probate, and Private Sector Medicaid, and continued her legal development in Healthcare Law supporting Nursing Home Litigation involving Medicaid‑dependent residents and unpaid long‑term care balances.

Beyond her professional work, Mekelee enjoys a grounded, joy-filled life with her husband, their two boxers, and their cat. She loves visiting her adult children, spending quality time together, and creating meaningful memories that keep her centered and inspired.
